I know it can be hard to make that first call or send that email. I offer a 15-minute phone consult, so I can answer any questions that you have about the therapeutic process and to ensure that I am the best fit for you.

In life, we sometimes face challenges. I am here to help those navigating exhaustion, isolation, low self-esteem, codependency, life transitions and broken relationships. I acknowledge the hesitancy in seeking help when you don't feel seen or understood. But you can trust that I will continually strive to understand you fully and meet you with empathy and support.

I approach therapy with a strengths-based perspective and believe every individual has the innate ability to heal. I make it a priority to individualize my approach to your needs because healing does not feel the same for everyone. In my practice, I utilize various evidence-based therapy models -  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy

Together we will explore who you are and what you truly want from life. This exploration includes learning to accept your emotional experience and show up for yourself with compassion. It includes working towards acting in ways that align with your values and learning tools that allow you to get in touch with who you are and what you want. We will also work towards creating mutually satisfying relationships in your life, as I believe they are necessary for continued support outside of the therapy room.

I was drawn into the field of therapy after years of working in the music industry. I saw how my lifestyle, and the lifestyle of musicians and other roadies, could be tough on one’s mental health and the mental health of their loved ones at home. I wanted to learn the skills to build not only a better life for myself but also for those I spent years working with. Pursuing my graduate degree provided me with the tools to better understand how our experiences, lifestyles, and thoughts impact our ability to show up fully in the world. Since becoming a therapist, it has been a humbling and healing journey working with others to learn what helps to build a fuller life.

Regardless of where your path has led you, I will meet you where you are. It is okay to be vulnerable, and it is also normal to be scared to open yourself up to another human being. I strive to create a safe and accepting environment where you are allowed to show up as your true self and move at a pace that feels right for you. I believe that every person deserves to feel seen and heard, and there is no better time to make yourself a priority.
